This model is the embodiment of the ultimate hunter. It depicts a Jagdpanzer IV L/70 from the 7th Panzer Division (1944). Its ultra-low profile made it nearly invisible in ambushes, while the long-barreled Panther gun allowed it to knock out any Allied vehicle from distances where the enemy couldn't even spot the tank destroyer itself.
Did you know? This model features a fascinating mix of two technical details. On the rear sits the "star" antenna (Sternantenne D), identifying this as a command vehicle used to coordinate unit fire. Meanwhile, the front road wheels are solid steel without rubber tires. Because of the massive gun, the vehicle was nicknamed "Guderian's Duck": it was so nose-heavy that standard rubber bands on the front wheels would literally burn up from the friction and pressure. Dragon has perfectly captured the look of this predator—the "long arm" of German defense in the final stages of the war.
