VEB Automobilenwerk Eisenach is a German automobile manufacturer in 1896-1991. After the Second World War, the BMW plant in Eisenach was in the zone of Soviet occupation, so it was to be dismantled and exported to the USSR. However, a group of German specialists appealed to Marshal Zhukov, head of the Soviet military administration in Germany, to permit the production of cars in Eisenach. The newly created Soviet-German Awtowelo AS produced BMW 321, and in 1948 prepared a restyling model - the BMW 340. In 1952, the court recognized the use of the BMW brand as illegal. The plant was renamed EMW - Eizenacher Motoren Werke, and the blue color on the emblem was replaced with red. EMW 340 was manufactured before 1953, then in Eisenach, the production of IFA F 9 machines was transferred from Zwickau, and in 1956 a new Wartburg model was launched at this plant. In our store you can buy collectible large-scale EMW models at the best prices.
