This 140-ton steel giant represented the final stage in the evolution of German heavy armor. The E-100 project was part of the ambitious "E-series," aimed at fully standardizing components and assemblies. Unlike the super-heavy Maus, this vehicle featured a more rational layout and was intended to be the primary breakthrough tool in the final months of the war. By the end of the war, only two unfinished hulls had been completed at the Henschel plant, one of which was later meticulously studied by British engineers.

Did you know? Among modelers, the E-100 is considered the king of "paper tanks" — vehicles that existed primarily on blueprints. Since the actual turret was never fitted, this model demonstrates the most likely combat appearance of the vehicle during the Battle of Berlin. Interestingly, transporting this monster by rail required special narrow tracks, as it was too wide to pass through tunnels or over bridges with its standard combat tracks attached.
