T-34/76 Mod. 1940 — a model of the earliest production version of the legendary T-34. Developed in Kharkiv, this tank was a true technological breakthrough for its time: its combination of sloped armor, wide tracks, and the powerful L-11 gun made it one of the finest medium tanks at the start of World War II.

Did you know? This early version is easily recognized by its unique turret design: instead of the usual two hatches, it featured one massive rectangular hatch covering almost the entire width of the roof. Additionally, on the model, you can notice the distinctive "nose" — an armored bulge at the front of the turret housing the gun's recoil system. This complex and elegant turret shape proved too difficult for mass production during the war, and within a year, it was replaced by simplified hexagonal designs, making the 1940 modification a true rarity for collectors.
