The Ferrari F300 is the car that symbolized Scuderia’s full resurgence as a dominant force in Formula 1. In this machine, Michael Schumacher fought an exhausting season-long duel against Mika Häkkinen in 1998. This Minichamps model (Michael Schumacher Collection No. 37) meticulously recreates the elegant lines designed by Ross Brawn and Rory Byrne. It was Ferrari's first car to feature a high-nose design and a unique upward-facing exhaust system — innovations that eventually became the industry standard.

Did you know? In the decisive finale at Suzuka, Schumacher secured pole position, but a stalled engine during the restart forced him to start from the very back of the grid. Despite an incredible charge through the field to 3rd place, his title hopes were shattered on lap 31 by a sudden rear tire puncture and failure caused by debris from an earlier collision between other cars. Remarkably, despite the heartbreaking loss, Michael personally visited the McLaren pits after the race to be the first to congratulate Mika Häkkinen on his championship.
