Schabak is a German manufacturer of scale models of cars and airplanes from the city of Nuremberg. Schabak was founded in 1966 by Max Hazelmann, Gerhard Hertlein, Horst Widmann and Wolfgang Stolpe as a distributor of toys and scale models, the basis of the range was Schuco products. After the bankruptcy of Schuco in 1976, Schabak acquired a piece of tooling for the production of models from the Schuco line.

The company has gained great popularity in the market for scale models due to the high quality and copy number of its products. The basis of the range was the scale models of cars of the German automotive industry in the scale of 1/43 and 1/24. In January 2006, Schuco was bought out by Schabak, after which the line of scale models of cars under the Schabak brand was abolished. Today, as for the past 40 years, Schabak has been offering the widest selection of aircraft models on 1/250 and 1/600 scales, with more than 100 airlines from all over the world.
